Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It frames time (kāla) as a precise, knowable order: different phenomena require different valid measures, reminding the practitioner that dharma and observation must follow proper standards rather than guesswork.
Indirectly: by emphasizing correct reckoning of time, it supports properly timed rites and observances that often accompany Vaiṣṇava practice, showing that devotion is strengthened by disciplined, accurate ritual order.
Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga (astronomical/astrological timekeeping): planetary motion is computed via solar time (sauramāna), while practical reckonings like rainfall cycles and gestation are tied to sāvana (civil day) counting.
