सपिंड्यांतरलग्नासूनेवं स्यात्कालसाधनम् । विराह्वर्कभुजांशाश्चेदिंद्राल्पाः स्याद् ग्रहो विधोः ॥ १५३ ॥

Transliteration

sapiṃḍyāṃtaralagnāsūnevaṃ syātkālasādhanam | virāhvarkabhujāṃśāścediṃdrālpāḥ syād graho vidhoḥ || 153 ||

Translation

Ainsi, en appliquant la règle de l’intervalle (antara) entre le piṇḍa et l’ascendant, on obtient la détermination du temps. Et si les mesures d’arc calculées—telles la séparation et l’arc du Soleil avec son « bhujāṃśa »—sont inférieures à un indra (petite unité), alors le « saisisseur » de la Lune (c’est-à-dire le nœud/affliction lunaire) doit être tenu pour agissant.
