Jyotiṣa-śāstra Saṅgraha: Threefold Division, Gaṇita Methods, Muhūrta, and Planetary Reckoning

स्वोदयात्सुहता भक्ता भक्तभोग्याः स्वमानतः । अभिष्टधटिकासुभ्यो भोग्यासून्प्रविशोधयेत् ॥ १४९ ॥

svodayātsuhatā bhaktā bhaktabhogyāḥ svamānataḥ | abhiṣṭadhaṭikāsubhyo bhogyāsūnpraviśodhayet || 149 ||

Dès son éveil propice, le bhakta—maîtrisant les sens et se contenant—doit purifier les prāṇa, souffles vitaux destinés à l’offrande et à la joie de la bhakti, au moyen des intervalles mesurés souhaités (muhūrta/ghaṭikā).
