शब्दाः प्रोक्ता ह्यनेकार्थाः सर्वलिंगा अपि द्विज । गणपाठः सूत्रपाठो धातुपाठस्तथैव च ॥ ८४ ॥
śabdāḥ proktā hyanekārthāḥ sarvaliṃgā api dvija | gaṇapāṭhaḥ sūtrapāṭho dhātupāṭhastathaiva ca || 84 ||
Ô deux-fois-né, il est enseigné que les mots ont de multiples sens et qu’ils s’emploient pour tous les genres ; de même existent les listes de Gaṇa, la récitation des sūtra, et aussi le Dhātu-pāṭha, la liste des racines verbales.
