FAQs

It emphasizes that the divine is beyond measure and thus known as “Ananta,” teaching that true reality exceeds all counting, limits, and conceptual boundaries—an insight central to Moksha-dharma.

By highlighting the fame and meaning of the divine name (“Ananta”), the verse supports nāma-smaraṇa (remembrance of the Lord’s name) as a direct devotional means to contemplate the Infinite.

It reflects a Vyākaraṇa/Nirukta-style principle: names (nāmadheya) are meaningful and indicate attributes; here, “Ananta” conveys the attribute of being limitless.
