Sṛṣṭi-pralaya-kathana: Mahābhūta-guṇāḥ, Vṛkṣa-indriya-vādaḥ, Prāṇa-vāyu-vyavasthā
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes the Purāṇic method of transmitting liberating knowledge (mokṣa-dharma) through an authoritative sage-to-sage lineage, where a Brahmā-like seer communicates the complete teaching.
This verse is preparatory rather than directly devotional: it establishes trustworthy narration and lineage, which in the Narada Purana supports later teachings where bhakti and mokṣa are learned through realized teachers and sacred tradition.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is the importance of reliable śruti-smṛti transmission—learning from recognized sages and established lineages.
