The Narration of the Brāhma Purāṇa’s Account
Brāhma Purāṇānukramaṇikā
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
This is a chapter-colophon verse: it marks the completion and title of Adhyāya 92 and preserves the scripture’s internal structure for accurate study, recitation, and transmission.
It does not teach bhakti directly; instead, it supports bhakti-oriented study by clearly indexing where the Brāhma Purāṇa-related narration concludes within the Bṛhannāradīya Purāṇa’s fourth pāda.
The verse reflects textual discipline akin to Vyākaraṇa/Śikṣā concerns in practice—precise labeling and segmentation for correct pāṭha (recitation) and citation—though no specific Vedāṅga doctrine is taught.
