Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
This verse emphasizes dharmic dāna (regulated giving): offering sattvic items (sesame, milk, sweets) together with measured valuables (gold, silver) as a means to generate puṇya and support ritual merit.
While primarily a dāna prescription, it supports bhakti indirectly by training the giver in humility, purity, and offering-mindedness—qualities that mature into devotional service when gifts are made with reverence to the divine and to dharmic recipients.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied through precise measures and weights (āḍhaka, raktikā, māṣa), showing how correct quantification and orderly offering are part of disciplined Vedic-style practice.
