Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 74

The Explanation of the Twelve-Month Caturthī Vrata

विधाय विन्यसेत्पीठे सायुधं च सवाहनम् । उपचारैः षोडशभिः समभ्यर्च्य विधानतः ॥ ७४ ॥

vidhāya vinyasetpīṭhe sāyudhaṃ ca savāhanam | upacāraiḥ ṣoḍaśabhiḥ samabhyarcya vidhānataḥ || 74 ||

Après avoir préparé la disposition, qu’on installe (la divinité) sur le piédestal, avec ses armes divines et sa monture. Puis, selon la règle, qu’on l’adore correctement par les seize services rituels (ṣoḍaśopacāra).
