Purāṇa
Suta (summarizing the contents of the Narada Purana in an anukramanika listing)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It highlights that devotion is supported by proper sacred form (mūrti), sacred space (prāsāda), and sacred procedure (pratiṣṭhā and pūjā), aligning inner meditation with outer ritual order.
By pairing mūrti-dhyāna (inner contemplative focus on the deity) with prescribed pūjā and consecration, it presents Bhakti as both heartfelt remembrance and disciplined worship performed according to śāstra.
It points to applied ritual-technical knowledge—temple architecture and proportion (Vāstu/Śilpa principles) and the procedural rules of consecration and worship (vidhi), essential for correct performance of temple rites.
