Suta (summarizing the Narada Purana’s contents in Anukramanika style)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It signals that the text includes śrāddha-related guidance—post-death rites, piṇḍīkaraṇa, and dāna—framed as supports for the departed and as aids toward release (vimukti).
Indirectly: it emphasizes compassionate, dharmic action (proper rites and charity) as a supportive limb of spiritual life, which in Purāṇic framing is harmonized with devotion and surrender as part of a righteous path.
Ritual procedure and dharma-practice (kalpa/ācāra in a broad sense): it points to structured funeral/ancestral rites (piṇḍīkaraṇa, śrāddha) and prescribed dānas as practical religious duties.
