Suta (continuing the Anukramanika-style summary of Narada Purana’s contents)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It signals that the text contains both devotional worship of Viṣṇu (arcana and stotra) and liberating philosophy (Vedānta/Sāṅkhya conclusions), presenting Brahma-jñāna as a central aim leading to mokṣa.
By explicitly naming a ‘Viṣṇu-arcana’ hymn/section, it foregrounds worship and praise of Viṣṇu as a taught practice, placed alongside higher doctrine—implying bhakti is a primary, scripturally grounded means within the Purāṇa.
No single Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is specified in this verse; instead it highlights philosophical śāstra—Vedānta and Sāṅkhya siddhānta—used to clarify Brahman-knowledge that supports right practice and realization.
