This verse functions as an Anukramanika (topic-list) pointing to multiple dharma practices—public welfare acts like building ponds and specific vratas—presented as sources of puṇya (religious merit) and auspiciousness.
Indirectly: by listing vratas and sacred observances, it indicates structured devotional living where vows and offerings become acts of reverence that support bhakti-oriented discipline.
Ritual procedure (kalpa-style practice) is implied through terms like vidhi and vrata—emphasizing correct performance of prescribed rites rather than grammar or astrology in this specific verse.
