वृतां दासीसहस्रेण शर्मिष्ठाम् आसुरायणीम् वासोभिरन्नपानैश्च संविभज्य सुसंवृताम् //

Transliteration

vṛtāṃ dāsīsahasreṇa śarmiṣṭhām āsurāyaṇīm vāsobhirannapānaiśca saṃvibhajya susaṃvṛtām //

Translation

Śarmiṣṭhā, fille du roi des Asura, entourée de mille servantes, fut pourvue comme il convient : on lui distribua vêtements, nourriture et boisson, de sorte qu’elle fût bien couverte et soigneusement entretenue.
