स सायकमयैरजललै: सर्वतस्तान् महारथान् | प्राच्छादयदमेयात्मा नीहारेणेव पर्वतान्,परंतु असीम आत्मबलसे सम्पन्न कुन्तीपुत्रने सब ओर सायकोंका जाल-सा बिछाकर कुहरेसे ढके हुए पहाड़ोंकी तरह उन सब महारथियोंको आच्छादित कर दिया

Vaiśampāyana dit : Doué d’une puissance intérieure sans mesure, le fils de Kuntī déploya de toutes parts une nappe de flèches semblable à un filet, et recouvrit entièrement ces grands guerriers de char—comme des montagnes voilées par une épaisse brume. L’image souligne une prouesse disciplinée : la force s’exerce avec maîtrise et retenue, non dans une rage aveugle, afin de dompter l’adversaire sans perdre son sang-froid.
