ईप्सिताल्लँभते कामानुपवासान्न संशय: । ततस्तु वामनं गत्वा सर्वपापप्रमोचनम्
īpsitāl labhate kāmān upavāsān na saṁśayaḥ | tataḥ tu vāmanaṁ gatvā sarvapāpapramocanam ||
Ghūlastya dit : « Par le jeûne, l’homme obtient à coup sûr les désirs qu’il recherche — il n’y a là aucun doute. Ensuite, après être allé à Vāmana-tīrtha, qui délivre de tous les péchés, qu’il poursuive sa marche de pèlerinage. »
