उपोपविष्टा विद्वांस: सहिता: संशितव्रता: । ये तद्भक्ता वसन्ति सम वनवासे तपस्विन:
upopaviṣṭā vidvāṃsaḥ sahitāḥ saṃśitavratāḥ | ye tadbhaktā vasanti sama vanavāse tapasvinaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Les hommes instruits, unis et fermes dans leurs vœux longuement éprouvés, s’assirent ensemble tout près. Les ascètes qui, par dévotion, avaient demeuré avec eux durant l’exil en forêt, étaient également présents. La scène révèle une communauté disciplinée, où savoir, austérité et fidèle compagnonnage soutiennent le juste conseil à un tournant qui met la droiture à l’épreuve.
