वधं चैषां करिष्यन्ति दैवयुक्ता महाबला: । वे दैवप्रेरित महाबली महात्मा पाँचों पाण्डव भी इन भीष्म आदिका सामना करते हुए इनका वध करेंगे

Transliteration

vadhaṃ caiṣāṃ kariṣyanti daivayuktā mahābalāḥ |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : Soutenus par le destin et pourvus d’une grande force, ils accompliront la mise à mort de ces hommes. Les cinq Pāṇḍava—puissants héros mus par une ordonnance supérieure—affronteront même des anciens redoutables tels que Bhīṣma et, au cours de la guerre juste, causeront leur chute.
