उष्णीषाणि नियच्छन्त: पुण्डरीकनिभै: करै: । अन्तरीयोत्तरीयाणि भूषणानि च सर्वश:,उन्होंने अपने कमलसदृश करोंसे मस्तकपर पगड़ी बाँध ली; फिर धोती, चादर और सब प्रकारके आभूषण धारण कर लिये
uṣṇīṣāṇi niyacchantaḥ puṇḍarīkanibhaiḥ karaiḥ | antarīyottarīyāṇi bhūṣaṇāni ca sarvaśaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : De mains pareilles à des lotus blancs, ils ajustèrent et fixèrent leurs turbans sur la tête ; puis ils revêtirent le vêtement du bas et celui du haut, et s’ornèrent de toutes sortes de parures—préparant leur maintien avec dignité et disponibilité pour l’affaire solennelle qui s’annonçait.
