आसनेभ्यो महारहेंभ्य उदतिष्ठ न्नमर्षिता: | बाहून् परिघसंकाशान् संस्पृशन्त: शनै: शनै:
āsanebhyo mahārhebhya udatishṭhann amarṣitāḥ | bāhūn parigha-saṅkāśān saṃspṛśantaḥ śanaiḥ śanaiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Alors, ne pouvant plus contenir leur indignation, ils se levèrent de leurs sièges précieux. Lentement, délibérément, ils se mirent à toucher et à éprouver leurs bras—pareils à des massues de fer—signe d’une résolution qui se rassemble et de l’inquiétante disponibilité à la violence lorsque la colère l’emporte sur la retenue.
