धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)

जगौ परमकं जप्यं नारायणमुदीरयन्‌ | जो हमारे परमगुरु मुनिवर श्रीकृष्णद्वैपायन व्यास हैं, वे भी परम उत्तम नारायणमन्त्रका जप करते हुए निरन्तर उनकी महिमाका गान करते रहते हैं

vaiśampāyana uvāca | jagau paramakaṃ japyaṃ nārāyaṇam udīrayan |

Vaiśampāyana dit : «En prononçant le nom de Nārāyaṇa, il chanta la formule sacrée suprême, la plus digne d’être répétée. Le sens est que même le plus haut des maîtres —le sage Śrī Kṛṣṇa Dvaipāyana Vyāsa— pratique sans cesse le japa de l’excellent mantra de Nārāyaṇa et ne cesse de célébrer Sa grandeur, tenant la dévotion et le souvenir pour la discipline la plus élevée.»
