धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)
पूजयित्वा च देवेशं पुनरायात् स्वमाश्रमम् | व्यासजी सदा ही आकाशमार्गसे अमृतनिधि क्षीर-सागरके तटपर जाकर देवेश्वर श्रीहरिकी पूजा करनेके पश्चात् पुनः: अपने आश्रमपर लौट आते हैं
vaiśampāyana uvāca | pūjayitvā ca deveśaṃ punar āyāt svam āśramam |
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Après avoir dûment adoré le Seigneur des dieux, il revint de nouveau à son propre ermitage. Le récit souligne l’idéal d’une dévotion révérencieuse suivie d’un retour discipliné à ses devoirs et à la voie de vie qui lui est assignée.»
