शक्र उवाच अहं वै त्वां निधास्यामि यथाशक्ति यथाबलम्‌ । न तु मे5तिक्रमः स्याद्‌ वै सदा लक्षिमि तवान्तिके

Transliteration

śakra uvāca: ahaṃ vai tvāṃ nidhāsyāmi yathāśakti yathābalam | na tu me 'tikramaḥ syād vai sadā lakṣmi tavāntike ||

Translation

Śakra dit : «Ô Lakṣmī, selon ma capacité et ma force—selon mon pouvoir et mon aptitude—je te soutiendrai et te maintiendrai. Mais qu’il n’y ait jamais de manquement de ma part ; que je ne t’abandonne jamais, et que tu demeures toujours près de moi.»
