श्रीझवाच स्थास्यामि नित्य देवेन्द्र यथा त्वयि निबोध तत्‌ | विधिना वेददृष्टेन चतुर्धा विभजस्व माम्‌

Transliteration

śrīr uvāca: sthāsyāmi nityaṁ devendra yathā tvayi nibodha tat | vidhinā vedadṛṣṭena caturdhā vibhajasva mām ||

Translation

Śrī (Lakṣmī) dit : «Ô Devendra, écoute et comprends le moyen par lequel je pourrai demeurer auprès de toi à jamais. Selon l’ordonnance consacrée par les Veda, divise-moi en quatre parts.»
