Bali–Vāsava Dialogue on Kāla and Steadfastness
अभयं यस्य भूतेभ्य: सर्वेषामभयं यत: । नमस्य: सर्वभूतानां दान्तो भवति बुद्धिमान्
abhayaṁ yasya bhūtebhyaḥ sarveṣām abhayaṁ yataḥ | namasyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ dānto bhavati buddhimān ||
Bhishma dit : Le sage, maître de lui-même, qui ne craint aucun être —et par qui, en retour, tous les êtres sont délivrés de la peur— devient digne de vénération pour toute créature vivante. Il incarne le dharma non par la contrainte, mais en faisant régner la sûreté autour de lui.
