Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
शान्तविध्न: सुखारम्भ: प्रभूतधनधान्यवान् । अन्नवान् बहुभक्ष्यश्व केशवेन सुरक्षित:
śāntavighnaḥ sukhārambhaḥ prabhūtadhana-dhānyavān | annavān bahubhakṣyaś ca keśavena surakṣitaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Le sacrifice fut délivré de tout obstacle et commença ainsi sans heurt. Il était pourvu d’abondantes richesses et de grains, et—protégé par Keśava—il n’y eut jamais pénurie de nourriture. En tout temps, des provisions généreuses de mets et de délicatesses y étaient tenues prêtes.
