कुलशीलश्रुतिबलै: कीर्त्या चास्त्रबलेन च | युक्ते तस्मिन् हते वीरा: प्रायशो विमुखा5भवन्,कुल, शील, शास्त्रज्ञान, बल, कीर्ति तथा अस्त्र-बलसे सम्पन्न उस वीर क्राथपुत्रके मारे जानेपर आपकी सेनाके प्रायः सभी शूरवीर सैनिक युद्ध छोड़कर भाग गये
kulaśīlaśrutibalaiḥ kīrtyā cāstrabalena ca | yukte tasmin hate vīrāḥ prāyaśo vimukhābhavan ||
Sañjaya dit : Lorsque ce guerrier—doué d’une noble lignée, d’une conduite droite, de savoir, de force, de renommée et de puissance dans les armes—fut tué, la plupart des héros de ton armée se détournèrent du combat et se replièrent en désordre.
