अथान्येन सुपुड्खेन शरेणानतपर्वणा । आजलचघान भ्रुवोर्मध्ये धृष्टदुम्नं परंतप:

Transliteration

athānyena supuṅkhena śareṇānataparvaṇā | ājau jaghāna bhruvormadhye dhṛṣṭadyumnaṃ paraṃtapaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : Alors, d’une autre flèche — bien empennée et intacte aux jointures — le puissant guerrier frappa Dhṛṣṭadyumna au milieu des sourcils, sur le champ de bataille. La scène souligne la précision inexorable de la guerre, où la prouesse et la résolution, plus que l’hésitation morale, poussent les combattants au cœur de la lutte du dharma et du destin.
