संजय उवाच एवमादीनि वाक्यानि क्रूराणि परुषाणि च
sañjaya uvāca evamādīni vākyāni krūrāṇi paruṣāṇi ca
Sañjaya dit : Ainsi furent proférées des paroles de cette sorte—cruelles et dures—montrant qu’au cœur de la fureur guerrière, la parole elle-même devient une arme qui blesse et avilit, s’écartant de la retenue et de la conduite selon le dharma.
