नान्य: पाज्चाल्यपुत्रेभ्यो विद्यते भुवि पापकृत् *वास्तवमें भीष्मका वध करनेवाला भी तेरा महान् पापाचारी भाई ही है। इस पृथ्वीपर पांचालराजके पुत्रोंके सिवा दूसरा कोई ऐसा पाप करनेवाला नहीं है
nānyaḥ pāñcālyaputrebhyo vidyate bhuvi pāpakṛt
Sañjaya dit : Sur cette terre, nul autre pécheur—nul autre auteur d’un forfait si abominable—n’existe en dehors des fils de Pāñcālī. Cette parole présente la mise à mort comme une faute morale d’une extrême gravité, et en concentre le blâme sur ce seul groupe.
संजय उवाच
