ततो<भूत्‌ तुमुलं युद्ध भीमराधेययोस्तदा । तौ वृषाविव नर्दन्तौ विवृत्तनयनावुभौ,फिर तो भीमसेन और राधापुत्र कर्णमें घोर युद्ध होने लगा। दोनों ही एक-दूसरेकी ओर विकृत दृष्टिसे देखते हुए साँड्रोंके समान गर्जने लगे

Transliteration

tato 'bhūt tumulaṃ yuddhaṃ bhīmarādheyayos tadā | tau vṛṣāv iva nardantau vivṛttanayanāv ubhau ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : «Alors s’embrasa une bataille tumultueuse entre Bhīma et Rādheya (Karṇa). Tous deux, les yeux déformés par la fureur et fixés l’un sur l’autre, mugirent comme deux taureaux.»
