तत् प्रवृत्तं निशायुद्धं चिरें सममिवाभवत्
tat pravṛttaṃ niśāyuddhaṃ cireṇa samam ivābhavat
Sañjaya dit : Cette bataille de nuit, une fois engagée, se prolongea longtemps et, à mesure qu’elle se déroulait, parut équilibrée—signe funeste de la façon dont l’obscurité et la fureur peuvent suspendre tout avantage net et prolonger la souffrance des deux camps.
