Alāyudha’s Resolve to Confront Bhīma
कृतित्वे बाहुवीय्यें च तथैवासम्भ्रमेडपि च । शीघ्रतामोघबुद्धित्वे नास्ति पार्थसम: क्वचित्,“अस्त्रोंके ज्ञान, बाहुबल, स्थिरता, शीघ्रता और अमोघबुद्धिता आदि गुणोंमें कहीं कोई भी कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुनकी समता करनेवाला नहीं है
kṛtitve bāhuvīrye ca tathaivāsambhrame 'pi ca | śīghratāmoghbuddhitve nāsti pārthasamaḥ kvacit ||
Sañjaya dit : «En habileté et en accomplissement, dans la puissance de ses bras et de même dans un sang-froid inébranlable ; en vitesse et en jugement infaillible — nulle part on ne trouve l’égal de Pārtha (Arjuna).» Dans l’horizon moral de la guerre, ce n’est pas une louange vaine, mais la reconnaissance que la maîtrise disciplinée et l’intelligence stable, accordées au devoir, deviennent des forces décisives au cœur du tumulte.
