The verse highlights the moral pressure-cooker of righteous warfare: even a dharmic hero like Arjuna can be subjected to overwhelming, extraordinary force. It invites reflection on restraint, proportionality, and steadfastness—how a warrior maintains composure and duty when faced with terrifying power.
Sanjaya reports to the king that powerful warriors with club-like strong arms are directing major celestial weapons against Arjuna’s body on the battlefield, emphasizing the intensity of the assault and the high stakes of the encounter.
