Book 7, Chapter 132
स रथस्तव पुत्रस्य त्वरया परया युत:
sa rathas tava putrasya tvarayā parayā yutaḥ
Sañjaya dit : Le char de ton fils s’élança, poussé par la hâte la plus extrême. Ce vers souligne l’urgence implacable de la guerre, où l’action rapide est prisée alors même qu’elle accroît la pression morale d’un conflit fratricide.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how, in war, urgency and momentum become decisive forces; ethically, it hints at the peril of being driven by haste in a conflict already burdened with adharma and tragic consequences.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the chariot associated with his son is moving forward with extreme speed, signaling rapid maneuvering amid the battle’s unfolding events.
