Śaineya’s Breakthrough and Reunion with Arjuna (शैनेयस्य समागमः)
स गाढविद्धो व्यथितो रथोपस्थ उपाविशत् | विसृज्य सशरं चापं मूर्च्छयाभिपरिप्लुत:,उन बाणोंकी गहरी चोट खाकर शिखण्डी व्यथित एवं मूर्च्छित हो धनुष-बाण त्यागकर रथकी बैठकमें बैठ गया
sa gāḍhaviddho vyathito rathopasthe upāviśat | visṛjya saśaraṃ cāpaṃ mūrcchayābhipariplutaḥ |
Sañjaya dit : Atteint profondément par les flèches, Śikhaṇḍī, souffrant et submergé par l’évanouissement, lâcha son arc avec ses flèches et s’affaissa sur le siège de son char. Le vers rappelle le coût brutal du combat sur le corps, et comment même un guerrier déterminé peut être terrassé par les effets immédiats de la violence.
