सप्त वीरान् महेष्वासानग्रानीकेष्वपोथयत् । उस सेनाके छिलन्न-भिन्न होते ही शिनिके महारथी पौत्रने सेनाके मुहानेपर खड़े हुए सात महाधनुर्धर वीरोंको मार गिराया
sapta vīrān maheṣvāsān agrānīkeṣv apothayat |
Sañjaya dit : Tandis que les premiers rangs de l’armée étaient taillés en pièces et disloqués, le petit-fils de Śini—grand guerrier de char—se tint ferme à l’entrée même de la formation et abattit sept héros de premier rang, puissants archers qui menaient l’avant-garde. La scène souligne l’élan impitoyable du combat, où commandement et vaillance sont éprouvés sous le poids moral du carnage.
