शरैरनलसंकाशैरनिन्ये वीरान् यमक्षयम् | राजेन्द्र! तदनन्तर विभिन्न जनपदोंके स्वामी अन्यान्य वीर राजाओंको भी उन्होंने अपने अग्निसदृश बाणोंद्वारा यमलोक पहुँचा दिया
śarair analasaṅkāśair aninye vīrān yamakṣayam | rājendra! tad-anantaraṁ bhinna-janapadānāṁ svāmī anyān-anya vīra-rājān api teṣām agni-sadṛśa-bāṇair yama-lokaṁ prāpayām āsa ||
Sañjaya dit : Par des flèches flamboyantes comme le feu, il envoya les guerriers au royaume impérissable de Yama. Ô meilleur des rois ! Ensuite, il dépêcha aussi d’autres rois héroïques—seigneurs de diverses contrées—vers le monde de Yama au moyen de ces traits pareils au feu, poussant la bataille en avant avec une force meurtrière et sans relâche.
