Chapter 111
समुत्क्षिप्प च बाहुभ्यामाविध्य च पुनः पुन:
samutkṣipya ca bāhubhyām āvidhya ca punaḥ punaḥ
Sañjaya dit : «Le soulevant à deux bras, puis le faisant tournoyer encore et encore…» Le vers fait sentir une poussée d’énergie guerrière : une démonstration de force destinée à intimider l’ennemi et à affermir les siens, rappelant que, dans le tumulte de la guerre, la prouesse physique et la pression psychologique deviennent des instruments, aux côtés des questions de devoir (dharma) et de retenue.
