Educational Q&A

The verse highlights decisive action and unwavering resolve in the face of formidable opposition—an aspect of kṣatriya conduct where one does not shrink from a direct encounter when duty and the battle’s demands require it.

Sañjaya reports that a warrior suddenly increases speed and charges toward the chariot of a leading Rākṣasa fighter, signaling the start or intensification of a direct clash.
