Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s appraisal of Vāsudeva’s deeds
पतितं चैनमालोक्य समन्ताद् भरतस्त्रिय: । परिवव्रुर्महाराजमस्पृशंश्वैव पाणिभि:,महाराजको गिरा देख धृतराष्ट्रकी बहुत-सी स्त्रियाँ उन्हें चारों ओरसे घेरकर बैठ गयीं और उन्हें हाथोंसे सहलाने लगीं
patitaṃ cainam ālokya samantād bharata-striyaḥ | parivavrur mahārājam aspṛśaṃś caiva pāṇibhiḥ ||
Le voyant tombé, les femmes de la maison des Bharata accoururent de toutes parts. Elles entourèrent le grand roi et, de leurs mains, le touchèrent et le caressèrent doucement.
