Abhimanyu’s assault; Alambusa’s counter-engagement
अभिमन्युमुखाश्रैव द्रौपदेया महारथा: । क्षत्रदेवश्न विक्रान्त: क्षत्रधर्मा तथैव च
sañjaya uvāca | abhimanyumukhāś caiva draupadeyā mahārathāḥ | kṣatradevaś ca vikrāntaḥ kṣatradharmā tathaiva ca ||
Sañjaya dit : Avec Abhimanyu en tête, les cinq princes Draupadeya—puissants guerriers de char—s’avancèrent. S’avancèrent aussi le vaillant Kṣatradeva et, de même, Kṣatradharmā. Le passage situe le combat comme un élan collectif de kṣatriya liés au devoir, où le courage et la loyauté envers son camp se manifestent par une avance coordonnée et la protection de la formation.
