भीष्म-पर्व अध्याय १०० — त्रिगर्त-आक्रमण, भीष्म-केन्द्रित पुनर्संयोजन, तथा शक्त्यस्त्र-विनिमय
सम्प्राप्य तु ततो राजा भीष्मस्य सदनं शुभम् | अवतीर्य हयाच्चापि भीष्म॑ प्राप्प जनेश्वर:
samprāpya tu tato rājā bhīṣmasya sadanaṃ śubham | avatīrya hayāccāpi bhīṣmaṃ prāpya janeśvaraḥ ||
Puis le roi, parvenu à la demeure propice de Bhīṣma, descendit de cheval ; et le seigneur des hommes s’avança vers Bhīṣma—marque de déférence envers l’aîné et l’autorité consacrée, malgré la tension de la guerre prochaine.
