Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
संवर्त उवाच मा स्मैव त्वं पुनरागा: कथंचिद् बृहस्पतिं परिदातुं मरुत्ते । मा त्वां थक्ष्ये चक्षुषा दारुणेन संक्रुद्धो<हं पावक त्वं निबोध
saṃvarta uvāca mā smaiva tvaṃ punar āgāḥ kathaṃcid bṛhaspatiṃ paridātuṃ marutte | mā tvāṃ thakṣye cakṣuṣā dāruṇena saṃkruddho ’haṃ pāvaka tvaṃ nibodha ||
Saṃvarta dit : «Ne reviens jamais ici, sous aucun prétexte, pour livrer Bṛhaspati à Marutta. Sache-le bien, ô Pāvaka (Agni) : si tu le fais, dans ma colère je te réduirai en cendres par mon regard terrible.»
