Adhyāya 51: Kṛṣṇa’s Leave-Taking and Departure for Dvārakā (द्वारकागमनानुमति)

प्रजापतिरिदं सर्व मनसैवासृजत्‌ प्रभु: । तथैव देवानूषयस्तपसा प्रतिपेदिरे,शक्तिसम्पन्न प्रजापतिने अपने मनके ही द्वारा सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌की सृष्टि की है तथा ऋषि भी तपस्यासे ही देवत्वको प्राप्त हुए हैं

vāyudeva uvāca | prajāpatiḥ idaṃ sarvaṃ manasaivāsṛjat prabhuḥ | tathaiva devān ṛṣayas tapasa pratipedire śakti-sampannāḥ ||

Vāyudeva dit : «Le Seigneur Prajāpati fit naître cet univers tout entier par la seule pensée. De même, les voyants, doués de puissance spirituelle, atteignirent l’état des dieux par l’austérité (tapas). Ainsi, la discipline intérieure et la volonté concentrée sont données comme le vrai moyen de création et d’élévation.»
