Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Royal Policy to Yudhiṣṭhira
वैशम्पायन उवाच तस्य तद् वचन धर्म्यमनुमान्य गुणोत्तरम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca tasya tad vacanaṃ dharmyam anumānya guṇottaram
Vaiśampāyana dit : Approuvant ces paroles comme conformes au dharma et empreintes d’une vertu supérieure, (ils les acceptèrent et agirent en conséquence).
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Speech aligned with dharma and enriched by good qualities deserves assent; ethical counsel is validated not merely by authority but by its righteousness and virtue.
