धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Permission for Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Forest-Retirement
क्षत्रियाश्वैव वैश्याश्व शूद्राश्ैव समाययु: । उधर राजाका संदेश पाकर कुरुजांगलदेशके ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य और शाूद्र वहाँ आये। उन सबके हृदयमें बड़ी प्रसन्नता थी
kṣatriyāś caiva vaiśyāś ca śūdrāś caiva samāyayuḥ |
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Les Kṣatriya, les Vaiśya et les Śūdra se rassemblèrent eux aussi. Ayant reçu le message du roi, les gens du Kuru-jāṅgala —Brahmanes, Kṣatriya, Vaiśya et Śūdra— vinrent en ce lieu, le cœur rempli d’une grande joie. La scène met en lumière la cohésion du corps social et la réponse empressée à la convocation royale, comme un moment d’ordre commun et de bienveillance après les ravages de la guerre.»
