धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Permission for Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Forest-Retirement
सर्वेर्भवद्धिद्रष्टव्य: समेषु विषमेषु च । ये कुरुकुलरत्न कुन्तीपुत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर आपलोगोंके पालक हैं। अच्छे और बुरे सभी समयोंमें आप सब लोग इनपर कृपादृष्टि रखें
sarvair bhavadbhir draṣṭavyaḥ sameṣu viṣameṣu ca | ye kurukularatnaḥ kuntīputro rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ āpālokānāṁ pālakaḥ | acche bure sabhī samayoṁ meṁ āpa sab log inpar kṛpādṛṣṭi rakheṁ |
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Vous tous, gardez les yeux sur lui, dans les temps propices comme dans les temps contraires. Le roi Yudhiṣṭhira, fils de Kuntī, joyau de la lignée des Kuru, est le protecteur de vous tous. Ainsi, en toute saison de fortune ou de malheur, que votre regard se pose sur lui avec compassion et soutien.»
