Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
गावो लक्ष्म्या: सदा मूलं गोषु पाप्मा न विद्यते । अन्नमेव सदा गावो देवानां परमं हवि:
gāvo lakṣmyāḥ sadā mūlaṃ goṣu pāpmā na vidyate | annam eva sadā gāvo devānāṃ paramaṃ haviḥ ||
Cyavana dit : «Les vaches sont à jamais la racine même de la prospérité (Lakṣmī). En elles, il n’est aucune trace de péché. En vérité, les vaches procurent sans cesse la nourriture à la vie des hommes, et pour les dieux elles sont l’oblation suprême (havis).»
