चतुणमिव वर्णानां धर्मो नान्यस्य विद्यते | वर्णानां धर्महीनेषु संख्या नास्तीह कस्यचित्
Translation
Bhīṣma dit : «Dans les śāstra, seul le dharma des quatre varṇa est établi avec certitude, et non celui des autres. Parmi les castes mêlées privées de dharma, il n’existe ici pour personne de nombre fixé de distinctions et de sous-distinctions selon la varṇa.»
